Slip into the hot tub under the mountains, then warm up by the wood stove. Hummingbird is a design-forward modern home in Cascade Locks, in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge — walls of windows and vaulted cedar ceilings inside, a gas fire table, landscaped garden patios, and a private hot tub outside. Sleeps 6 with two queen bedrooms (one ensuite), a sofa sleeper, and two full baths. You're minutes from the Bridge of the Gods, Thunder Island, and Pacific Crest Trail trailheads, with Multnomah Falls a short drive west and Hood River about 20 minutes east. Up to two dogs welcome.

The great room is the showpiece: vaulted cedar ceilings, a wall of windows on the forest, a wood stove for slow mornings, and doors that open straight to the patios. The kitchen is fully equipped — and the coffee setup runs deep (Keurig/drip combo, French press, milk frother).

A car is the best way to explore the Gorge. Driveway parking is available for standard vehicles — message us before arrival if you're bringing a trailer, an oversized vehicle, or extra cars.

You're truly in the Gorge here, and wildlife comes with it — black bears have been spotted near the backyard. Keep food and garbage secured, never feed or approach wildlife, and keep an eye on kids and pets outdoors.
